Over the last number of years, we have worked tirelessly to create a wildebeest herd that represents the best of this wonderful African species. Before we share one of the supreme highlights of our auction this year, allow us to tell you why we love our wildebeest so much.

All you need to be able to admire the wildebeest is to witness their free spirit of togetherness in the veld. They love being with each other to find safety and indeed companionship in their group. One of the best examples of wildebeest camaraderie is to witness the famous Great Wildebeest Migration across the Serengeti in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya. Millions of wildebeest and other animals, including zebra and various antelope, on a dangerous mission across vast expanses of land, following seasonal rains on a journey over some 2 000 km. A truly inspiring sight to behold.

As our swallows now gather in the blue late summer sky for their own migration to Europe and while the seasons merge, weโ€™re humbled, grateful and in awe of a living nature weโ€™re allowed to love, along with you.
