This 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 leaves you grinning from ear-to-ear.

A Twin-turbo 3.0 litre EcoBoost V6 producing 292kW & 583Nm, specially tuned by Ford Performance is a big thing to talk about in the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor. Made of compacted graphite-iron cylinder block, designed with a race-bred, anti-lag system for faster throttle responses, this engine is made to deliver boost on demand, while also providing strength & durability.

The 10-speed automatic transmission with each gear programmed with its own boost profile ensures effortless acceleration on gravel, dirt, mud and sand.

Drivers can choose their preferred engine sound by pressing a button on the steering wheel or by selecting a drive mode that uses one of the following settings: The Driver can customize the Raptor’s vocal character to choose their own favourite mode using the “My Mode” button on Steering wheel.

The FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shock absorbers with cutting-edge control technology offering position-sensitive damping capability. They are the largest ever on a Ranger Raptor and are filled with Teflon™-infused oil, which helps reducing friction by around 50%.  

Capability of the NextGen Ranger Raptor is further enhanced thanks to the underbody protection. The front bash plate is almost double the size of the standard Ranger bash plate and made from 2.3mm-thick high-strength steel providing protection for key components like radiator, steering system, engine sump & front differential.

Out of the box it’s a supremely capable off-road vehicle that you don’t need to modify

Advanced permanent four-wheel-drive system with an all-new electronically controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case, combined with front and rear locking differentials. This helps the off-road enthusiasts tackle anything from smooth roads to mud and ruts and everything in between.

Seven Selectable Drive Modes are available, from the relaxed Normal mode to the extreme off-road oriented Baja mode. Each drive mode help accentuate application of the Ranger’s Capability by working on hundreds of parameters including Calibration of Engine, Transmission, ABD sensitivity, Traction, Exhaust valve actuation, Electronic power Assisted steering and also the Central touch screen

#NextGenRangerRaptor also comes with Trail Control™, which is like cruise control for off-roading. The driver simply selects a set speed (less than 32km/h), and the vehicle manages acceleration and braking while the driver concentrates on steering through difficult terrain.
